TECHNICAL SOUND DESIGNER
Hi, I'm Chris and I love sound!
I'm a sound designer with over 7 years of experience. I'm a multi-instrumental and tinkerer, whatever a project needs I'm raring to meet the challenge. I currently live in Stonehouse, Scotland and previously lived in Dundee where I worked remotely. Anything related to the creation of sound is where my interests lie, I love getting stuck in whether it be software, recording, performing or getting the tools out and building something from scratch. I like to make things, and if those things make sound then we're really cooking.
My main loves in gaming are 3D puzzlers (Maquette, Qube, Portal 1 & 2) and laid back singleplayers (Slime Rancher, A Short Hike), plus I play the occasional Sudoku on my old DS. Problem solving is my main lens, and that's how I approach what is needed to serve any project. Audio doesn't stand alone, but without it some of the indescribable magic would be missing. It makes or breaks a world.
In terms of who admire in the world of sound design, it oscillates between the experimental and old school. People like Delia Darbyshire, Ben Burtt, Mick Gordon, Stefan Goetsch (Hainbach) and Sam Battle (Look Mum No Computer) come to mind.

Marathon Trailer Re-design
I decided to go in deaf with this re-design, I did not listen to the original to prevent it from influencing me. Several techniques were use from regular foley, synthesis and circuit bending to achieve the final result.
